We'd rather solve your problem in one session than keep you on the clock. If it's a straightforward workflow, you should leave able to run it without us.
The exception is complex builds, like setting up AI agents. Those take longer, and we'll scope them with you up front so there are no surprises.

We started this because the people running small businesses have the most to gain from AI and the least time to figure it out. We'd like to be some of those extra hands: get you going, then get out of your way.
Questions
Things people ask first.
Do I need any technical background?
No. If you can write an email, you can follow this. The workshop is built for people who have tried AI once or twice and weren't sure what to do with it.
Will I need to build along?
No. The session is demo-led: we show, you watch, and we finish with your questions. That way you can focus on understanding it rather than keeping up.
Do I need a Claude account?
Not to watch. To try things yourself afterward you'll want one. The free plan covers a lot, but some features, like scheduled tasks for daily digests, need a paid plan. We'll point out which is which and show what's current, since features change quickly.
Workshop or coaching: which should I pick?
Start with the $30 workshop: you'll see what's possible and how to prompt well, and you can ask your questions. Coaching is for when you want someone to work through your specific workflows with you, one-on-one. Not sure? The free 15-minute consult that comes with the workshop will point you in the right direction.
How does the free consult work?
After you attend the workshop, we send you a link to book a free 15-minute one-on-one. We talk through your business, what's worth automating, and how, and you leave with a personalized consulting plan. There's no obligation to book anything afterward.
How long does coaching take?
Simple workflows often take an hour or two. Our aim is to get you running it yourself as quickly as possible. Complex builds, such as AI agents, take longer, and we'll scope them with you before you commit.
Is my client data safe?
We cover what to keep out of any AI tool and how to check the output before it goes anywhere. This is general education, not legal or compliance advice.
What if I can't make it?
Move your seat to a later session, or get a full refund up to 24 hours before the start.
Are you affiliated with Anthropic? Do you give investment advice?
No to both. Make Light Work is independent: Claude is made by Anthropic, and we teach people how to use it well. We teach practical AI skills; we don't offer investment services, and nothing here is investment advice.
